Uses for a Witch’s Eye—1.a Jaw Stopper

BY NICELLE DAVIS

It’s likely you are the only witch in territory, meaning
it’s your own eye needed to complete the spell. You

must resign yourself to this loss. Tell yourself it’s just
an eye
—you have two—and vision happens regardless

of sight. It helps to find imperfections in the victim socket—
think how weak the eye to let you ruin it. If you still cannot

bring yourself to harm, there are others who will hurt you.
Go to the local tavern—offer to turn Anyman’s goat into

a woman. He’ll do whatever you ask to make normal his
love. Once you have your prize, punish him for his offense.

Kill the goat—tell him—she was willingly his before he
required her to change. Leave with a substance sufficient

to keep open a monster’s mouth. Now, you are ready to
force feed your singing want to sirens.
