Hot Metal Bridge

Current Issue : Number Twenty-Five

Note from the Fiction Editor

Each of the three stories we’re proud to share with you in issue Number Twenty One feature estrangements: sisters from each other, in Nicholas Lepre’s “Gathered in the Corners”; a young person from her parents’ home country, in Jenny Bhatt’s “Lili’s Song”; and adult daughter from mother, in Lou Dellaguzzo’s “Sorry I Kept You.” Each story also drives toward reconciliation, though none are quite sure it can be found, each ending on a note of complication or surprise. I’m grateful to the authors for their fine work.
